Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry (license is not required)/biochemistry, pharmacology, or a related field.
• Prior lab experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
• Strong attention to detail, initiative, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Good organizational and communication skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receive training and independently conduct a glucose-uptake functional assay using the C2C12 muscle cell line.
  
• Perform cell-free pharmacological evaluations of the investigational compound Zinc-Quercetin.
  
• Manage and follow up on purchase requests and procurement processes for laboratory needs.
  
• Assist the project leader in manuscript preparation for scientific presentations and publications.
  
• Help maintain the cleanliness, safety, and organization of the laboratory environment.
